I got caught up at school again...until way past dark and missed the sun to photograph this outfit in good light. So I got home around 10 and proceeded to take photos all over the house trying to find decent light. Today is my first time to participate in the
Bloggers Do It Better challenge and the theme was "White Out" I chose to go with a medley of white, off white, and beige. I really like how adding some beige off-sets the white overload. I am tempted to have more white out days. A risky idea when you spend 7 hours a day in the company of 7 year olds. But I like to live on the edge... that's how I do it.
Where I ended up...old standby, the fireplace
hallway...meh

I think my idea was to try the orange as a backdrop...not my best idea

I love the white with the beige! I almost went that route for my white out outfit but then remembered that I hardly own anything beige since it tends to wash me out :(
ReplyDeleteI really like how you offset the feminine prettiness of the dress and cardi with those awesome, edgy boots! Love it!:)
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog, commenting and following! You're the best!
Sincerely,

I love how you added those tough boots to this really feminine look! I never would have thought of that, but I LOVE it!

like the pic where you are sitting up on couch.. Not sure about boots. Like them but not necessarily with this outfit, but then in some shots I do...Weird Right?
ReplyDeleteWould love it, if you would stop by and see how a 45+ year old handles “White Out”—you might get a good chuckle anyway! See you there! http://stillblondeafteralltheseyears.com/2011/05/white-out-change-it-up-outfits-modeled-by-women-over-45/
