la di da

dress: Lauren Conrad for Kohl's clearance
cardigan: Target
shoes: Lela Rose for Payless
necklace: [un]possible cuts

Do you ever put on an outfit and just feel fancy? Dresses and heels are the norm for me, but something about this dress just feels extra special. It's got this vintage vibe to it that I love. You can almost forget the drab exterior of the buildings behind me. Let's just pretend I'm sashaying down a much prettier, much more picturesque street. As a side note, this dress is not to be worn on windy days...I pulled a Marilyn a couple times trying to avoid the wind blowing this full skirt straight up, causing me to flash the world.

sweatpants

skirt: Nordstrom Rack
top: Kohl's
sandals: Target
vest: Target
necklace: gift

Comfortable and casual. That was the theme of the day. I am seriously playing catch up on posts here. These photos were taken before school started when I was still getting ready for the new year and prepping my room. I can't even say how often I wear this skirt. It's essentially sweatpants. Easy to wear and what I reach for when I just don't care.

floral crowns

top: resale
skirt: Nordstrom Rack clearance
sandals: Target

Over the summer I finally gave in to my deep seeded desire to make myself a flower crown, which, if you know me at all, should come as no surprise. I wore it constantly yet never posted any pictures of it on here. Obviously, I needed to remedy that.

Also, look what picasa automatically does when I upload photos! Fun! Action shots!!!

wanderer

black pants: GAP outlet
top: Kohl's clearance
chambray: Kohl's Lauren Conrad
black blazer: super old
platforms: blowfish resale
cherry blossom necklace: [un]possible cuts

Somehow I caught myself with my eyes closed in just about every picture. This is from a couple weeks back on a Sunday in the city. I met a friend for brunch and had some time to kill before dance practice, so I wandered around. I sat in Huntington Park reading. Pretty sure I trespassed, taking these pictures outside the Pacific Union Club.  Getting lost in the city was one of my favorite things when I lived there so I was content to stroll up and down hills for a few hours. Thank god I've finally learned how to layer!
