Mustache Love

dress: Sway clearance
slip: Anthropologie
Romance boots: Seychelle's
owl necklace: Sway
mustache necklace: Unpossible Cuts

Wooo! Today is a hot one! Feels like summer in the city and sadly, I am east bay bound. The count down continues until the first day of school and the pressure is on to get started. I realized, after a conversation with a positive, enthusiastic teacher, that I need to surround myself with that more often. Just talking to someone who was so excited reminded me how excited I am by what I do. It is SOOOOOO easy to get caught up in complaints (because the job is hard), but I am not that kind of teacher or person. So hooray for all the teachers out there who love the challenge of starting from scratch year after year. The thrill outweighs the burden.

EBEW Yellow

cardigan: GAP sale
dress: Sway clearance
tights: Kohl's sale
boots: Seychelle Romance on sale

I have been out the loop for the past two Everybody Everywear challenges. I was torn on what to wear. I considered going all yellow but decided against it, thought about doing the yellow tights...I tried many outfits. And in the end I pulled an un-posted outfit from my archives and am using that.

I love the short, playfulness of this dress that I got for like 8 bucks. I added burgundy, textured tights and lace up boots to toughen up the look. Ooooo I'm so tough in my cardigan and satin dress. Don't mess with me. :)

that'll do

tshirt: gift, from Storyville in Austin, TX
jacket: Old Navy
dress: Sway clearance
tights: Kohl's
boots: Seychelle's

These were taken last week but didn't make it online. My sister gave me this t-shirt for my birthday because she has the same one and I must have been very vocal in my admiration. Thanks Andi!

I wore it casually with jeans one day but really wanted to try to find a way to wear it that is more "me." I have a a few tee's from Storyville and would like other ways to wear them. Any ideas? I tried this one just over the dress and also tried knotting it. Meh. Maybe it's the tights I don't like.
